We have all been criticising about what is not being done by the government. However, we rarely give our own solutions to any problem that we see. May be the suggestion is ridiculous - but still if we look things in a positive way may be we can suggest solutions which some one can like and decide to implement. I know this is very wishful thinking but this is surely better than just criticising.

Traffic chaos in Delhi

The fines for traffic rules violations have been increased by six times last week in Delhi. But will this improve the traffic in this capital city is a big question on every one's mind. And it is the common citizen who is more responsible than anyone else in creating this situation. With the ever increasing number of vehicles in the city we have to change our attitude if we want to have some order on the roads.
What one sees is that if there is no policeman we just don't care of traffic rules. At home we might teach our child to stop at Red light and to go only when the light turns Green but when we drive we flout these simple guidelines at every crossing. The same goes for lane driving or parking at will.
The authorities should also take care that the signal lights work properly and the roads are repaired fast. Both these factors also help in creating more chaos on the roads.
And yes, the traffic policemen have to be more attentive.
God willing and we caring a little, things will improve.
